Nokia just recently announced its new Windows phone 8 smartphone, the Lumia 620. The device comes with a 3.8 inch WVGA display having a pixel density of 480 x 800, powered by a 1 GHz Dual core processor supported by 512 Mb RAM. On the back you get a 5 megapixel camera with LED flash and VGA front facing camera. Though the screen resolution is not the best in the market but yet the display looks vibrant and colorful.
The phone is pocket friendly and is priced at $250 making it a very affordable Windows phone with an appealing look and compact design.
The phone has a Dual Shot color technique which adds a second layer of transparent polycarbonate on top of the full color layer to give you a blend in effect.
NFC and radio capability are coupled on the smart phone. Nokia has collaborated with JBL and other accessories makers for this device as well.
The smartphone is available in various colors like lime green, orange, magenta, yellow, black and white, enough to satisfy the color conscious users. Color is not going to be an issue as the Lumia 620 comes with exchangeable covers giving you a choice of 7 colors to choose from.
Finally, this is a Windows Phone 8, so the Nokia Lumia 620 comes with Live Tiles for updates direct to the Start Screen, People Hub for all your address books in one place and a Me Tile to make it easy to post and track notifications across social networks. Considering the price tag for this smart phone, it offers a lot of substantial features normally associated with higher end models.
The phone goes on sale in January 2013 in Asia followed by Europe and the Middle East.
